Are you ready to lead with purpose, build community, and champion local business? The Chillicothe Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking a visionary, energetic, and mission-driven Executive Director to guide our organization into its next chapter of impact and innovation.
As Executive Director, you will serve as the Chamber’s chief advocate, connector, and strategist representing the voice of Chillicothe’s business community while cultivating meaningful partnerships across the region. This role invites you to be a bold thinker and a compassionate doer. The ideal candidate will thrive in environments where relationships matter, ideas spark action, and tradition meets progress.
You’ll oversee a dynamic organization that includes:
- Community initiatives that celebrate, connect, and elevate our members and residents
- Membership Services that foster growth, retention, and value
- Public Relations & Advocacy that amplify our pro-business mission
- Administrative Leadership that ensures operational excellence
- Experience in Chamber leadership, nonprofit management, or community development
- Familiarity with working alongside a Board of Directors
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- A passion for business advocacy and community building
- Proficiency in marketing, social media, and digital tools (Office & Google Suite)
- A community convener and collaborative leader
- Pro-business minded and member-focused
- Inspirational, progressive, and mission-driven
- A keeper of community traditions with a heart for innovation
- Passionate about workforce development, supporting local, and regional partnerships
- Skilled in fundraising, networking, and public engagement
